About the Greater Atlanta Computer Measurement Group

The Greater Atlanta Computer Measurement Group "GACMG" is a regional chapter of the Computer Measurement Group, Inc.   The Computer Measurement Group, commonly called CMG, is a not for profit, worldwide organization of data processing professionals committed to the measurement and management of computer systems. CMG members are primarily concerned with software performance engineering, performance evaluation of existing systems to maximize performance (e.g. response time, throughput, etc.) and with capacity management where planned enhancements to existing systems or the design of new systems are evaluated to find the necessary resources required to provide adequate performance at a reasonable cost.

The Greater Atlanta CMG holds day-long meetings twice a year in which distinguished performance experts present papers of interest to members.

The Greater Atlanta CMG chapter is looking for active members and volunteers so please contact any of the current acting officers if you are interested in participating.
